is a formal representation of the concepts that the Arabic terms convey. For each term in the Arabic language, the set of its meanings (i.e. concepts) are identified, and semantic relationships (such as subtype-of and part-of) between all concepts are introduced. To simplify, the Arabic ontology is a tree of the meanings of the Arabic terms. It can be seen as an Arabic WordNet; however its relationships are well-formalized, and glosses follow strict formulation and ontological rules.

GDT is a bank of terminological sheets produced by  Quebec Office of the French Language (Office Québécois de la Langue Française) or its partners. Each sheet gives information on a concept linked to a specialized field and represents the terms designating it in French, English and, sometimes, in other languages.
